Marine Animal Bank

blog-1

The "Marine Animal Bank" is a key mechanism for restoring and maintaining the balance and abundance of the ocean. This project not only accepts and breeds marine animals returned to nature by locals, but also serves as a learning and demonstration center for the breeding of local aquatic animals, particularly those of commercial value such as shrimp, shellfish, crabs, and fish, which are the primary resources for sustaining coastal communities and generating income.

Key goals of the Marine Animal Bank

It aims to increase the quantity and survival rate of aquatic animals from the initial stage until they reach adulthood, enabling them to reproduce naturally and sustainably, and return to the community as "economic animals" that generate continuous income.

The Bank's activities also foster collaboration between communities and projects by providing opportunities for fishermen and local residents to participate, from bringing aquatic animals to be consigned, learning about aquaculture practices, to monitoring long-term yields. This helps raise awareness of the value of natural resources and creates sustainable, mutually beneficial outcomes for both communities and the marine ecosystem.
